Primegrill in Fourways hosted an enjoyable afternoon of culinary delights, and their chefs displayed their culinary skills. FÜRI is engineered for design, innovation and performance, and the chefs put their skills to good use while conjuring up delicious dishes of angel hair noodles and freshly chopped stir fry vegetables, canapés of steak tartar, deep fried cauliflower, main dishes of fillet and chicken ballotine and delicious desserts which included, panna cotta and hazelnut chocolate mousse to name a few.
All of the dishes where expertly put together utilising the FÜRI range of knives. I was specifically impressed with the Chef’s knives, which makes food preparation look like child’s play, and the deboning knife, with which the chef neatly deboned a chicken in a few minutes, an art I am yet to master. I am specifically pleased with the wonderful gift that they gave us, a paring knife, which promises to be just as useful to me a foodie enthusiast as it is to a professional chef. This is a block of kitchen knives you definitely want close at hand, when preparing for that next dinner party.
Stanley Rogers (Cutlers & Silversmiths since 1930) cutlery was beautifully and temptingly displayed, for use to enjoy these tasty morsels, and definitely raised curiosity as to where it can be bought in South Africa, with its exceptionally reasonable prices. My ‘baguette fruit spoon’ gift, is just a teaser of the magnificent 56 piece cutlery set that is on the wish list, to adorn my dinner table in the future.
I am looking forward to sharing the stockist list and retailers details, where you can purchase these fine new products, in the near future.
Thank you to Glass Slipper Communications, Prestige, FÜRI and Stanley Rogers and Prime Grill for a most inspiring afternoon.
